Places

Haven (Kingdom)

Qavvik's Tower

The Lither family seat, old Orderborne stone built to outlast any siege, set on a ridge between Haven and the coast. Torvin grew up here and trained alongside Martin Lither beneath its vaults. The party brought their evidence and their prisoner here and won the family’s alliance. The tower has since weathered an assassination attack and still stands.

Rot Hollow

Haven’s seedy underside: gambling dens, black-market stalls, and goods that never cleared customs. Bobby ran operations against smugglers here in his Coast Guard days.

Fanewick (Forest Territory)

Solemn Shore

A small Fanewick port that ships regularly to Haven. Where the party first set out at the start of all this.

Big Tree

A sizeable Fanewick settlement and the home of Cybin‘s Fungril community, where the elder Maris resides. Cybin is not welcome here since Rowan‘s death, though Maris calls him back for the Death Rites all the same.

Hush

A small, insular town deep in the forest, ringed by old Witherwild boundary stones. The Whitefire Arcanist keeps a house on its edge. Remy Greef burned the Clover Tavern here when the party would not hand over the Golden Mandrake.

The Jewel of the Lake

A quiet fishing village on the water. Martin Lither lies buried here, laid to rest by the party after they failed to save him. The fisherman Ol’ Greg carried word of his death back to his family.

The Pinch

Two enormous curved rock formations that Fanewick legend names the mandibles of Khepri, the World Roller. Under a full moon an addictive ooze seeps from the stone, the raw material the Greefs refine into the Pinch drug. The Black Scarab that Cybin‘s community guards is said to be tied to this place.

Callow's Reach

A river settlement with docks on the road south. The party destroyed a strange relay apparatus here that had wired captive Fungril into the mycelial network, freed three of the six, and captured Remy Greef as he tried to flee by barge. Cassia rescued the Thane family from a Greef safehouse nearby.

Thane Estate (Seized)

Sir Garrett Thane‘s estate, taken by the Greefs as “collateral” and turned into a Fungril drug farm. The party burned the operation to the ground.

The Fields of Unceasing Song

Rich farmland along the Fanewick border where Torvin holds a number of agricultural loans. The Witherwild’s spread has been thinning the harvests, and the farmers who owe him are struggling to pay.

Plantations / New Hope

Cleared forest turned to farmland, overseen from the fort town of New Hope. A blunt monument to Haven’s push into Fanewick.

Stone's Throw

A cliff with a grim reputation, tied to the Serpent’s Sickness. The terminally ill are sometimes brought here, or come on their own.

Coastal Cities

Seagloam

A major coastal port thick with trade. Torvin holds a debt here he has never managed to collect, owed by the Faint Divinity Sten Nari, a failure that has cost him some standing.

Stalkholm Station

An Ottoman research outpost dug into a hillside far south of Shellsinki, built over an old weather station and something older beneath that. It is the end of the Greef cargo pipeline. The party is inside it now, working downward through its levels, and has already learned the weather pylon network was not built by the Ottomans but found by them.

Shellsinki

A small working harbor that never mattered enough for politics, and the site of the sea-turtle sanctuary Bobby established years ago. The party uncovered the Greef cargo running through its counting house, bound south, and found the channel markers moved so boats could cut through the nesting cove.
