Factions

The Greef Family

A Slyborne crime family and the party’s most persistent enemy. They run the Pinch drug trade, prey on the indebted, and have been swallowing the lands of failing noble houses, the Lithers chief among them. Where the Greefs take ground, Fungril go missing.

The Lither Family

An old Orderborne house of legitimate lenders, brought to the edge of collapse. Ruined farms, debts bought up by the Greefs, and a murdered heir have left them fighting for survival. With the party’s help and Cassia leading, they have begun to fight back instead of simply falling.

The Ottoman Family

A politically powerful Haven family whose name shadows much of what the party has uncovered: the weather pylons, the betrayals, the quiet money behind the Greefs. How high it reaches, and to what end, the party is only beginning to grasp.

Fungril Communities

Cybin‘s nomadic people, keepers of sacred sites and the telepathic web that binds them to one another. Driven from their forests by Haven’s expansion and now hunted by Greef raiders, they are a people under siege.

Haven Authorities

The kingdom’s government. Not all of it corrupt, but corrupted in places. They sent the party after the Golden Mandrake, though by whose hand and to what purpose stays unclear, even as Crimson Veil grows scarce and the war over the Reaping Eye drags on.

Vantis and Associates

An expensive, well-connected Haven law firm working the Greefs’ side of the board. They filed papers against the party’s interests with suspicious speed and kept an operative in Shellsinki to watch the cargo move.
